G JAYARAMAN - THE GUN STILL FIRES!!!

Kudos to the spirit of Jayaraman Uncle as we know him. He still feels he has miles to go and a great zeal to work and contribute to this world.

Congratulations Uncle, on being appointed the Executive President, at Birla Corp. It’s also great to hear that you have moved your bags to the "macher jhol, and rosgulla" country now!!!

All the Best and great wishes to a successful tenure. Go for the Sachin's record, and remain unbeaten!!!

On this account, I will post a picture of a small contribution of yours to BCW Surajpur. The township is brought down to dust. But in this flourishing forest and the still maintained GM'S Bungalow the sight that got me was Nek 'Rock Garden' Chand's two installations!!

Cheers
Ramesh

R.I.P.: circa 2006 September 9, Surajpur as it is now!

the road that led to our homes...the remnants of the factory...that made cement to build the Bhakra dam, and a million homes and other concrete structures..... as what it appears today.

yeh kahaan aa gaye hum!

Life has moved so much ahead. That going back in time seems scary. I did. And for the firsttime in my life went back to see my childhood- and was left wondering, and shocked to see a once happy township now a flourishing forest, with no tell tale signs of its glorious past.

I am dedicating this blog site to the spirit of Surajpurians, who lived in a society called ACC BCW SURAJPUR. Over the next postings I would try and bring alive the past and the present.

Anyone of you having memories of Surajpur, please log in here time and again and keep posting your views. May our tribe find a new life on the net.

Happy blogging
